This was the first of the 60's "take it out" Rock songs . At least this is the one that showed the SF groups what could be done . It is ironic that Bloomfield had such negative things to say about the the bands that , took inspiration form this song .

Yes, that is an excellent Viola, better and much more developed than most from '66...

Cool! I saw Bloomfield a couple of times, once with the Electric Flag. IMHO, he was better than Clapton. Sorry Tell. :) Too bad he didn't survive the drug wars.
